DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS?
For online sales via www.askteak.com, we ship only to Singapore. For Indian buyers, we have dedicated sales galleries for in-house designs and customised furniture at multiple locations in India. Kindly click here to find complete location closest to you.
WHAT TYPE OF WOOD IS YOUR FURNITURE MADE OF?
Every product at ASK TEAK is manufactured using sustainably sourced Burmese Teak wood from Myanmar. Items in Classic furniture section are hand-carved with only selected fine premium grade solid Burmese Teak.
Basics Collection, with simpler designs and functionality (such as dining table and chairs, are made from Burmese Teak finger-joint boards and / or Solid Teak.
The Colonial collection, with outdoor and rustic design characteristics, are manufactured with Solid Burmese Teak.
DO YOU CUSTOM-MAKE FURNITURE?
Yes, with ASK Teak Create initiative, you can choose to customise our existing selection of furniture or come up with your own designs to be recreated in Burmese Teak. Please do note customisation is only limited on Burmese Teak and available range of fabrics and stains. Kindly write to us at email@example.com with your customisation ideas.
DOES ASK TEAK USE BURMESE TEAK VENEER IN FURNITURE?
Yes, Burmese Teak Veneer is used as a key component in manufacture of many customised furniture items under ASK Teak Create and some Veneered Doors under Teak Collections.
WHERE DOES YOUR TEAK WOOD SOURCED FROM?
We source our Teak from the forests of Myanmar (Burma). All timber is procured from the MTE (Myanma Timber Enterprise), within the permissible AAC (Annual Allowable Cut). Each piece of timber can be independently traced for legality and due diligence by third-party verification. More information can be found on under Burmese Teak.
WHERE CAN I SEE YOUR PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY?
Products can be seen at any of our outlets and warehouse. As stocks may vary at different locations, kindly check availability of the product at your preferred store before visiting.

WHAT IS THE IDEAL STAIN / COLOUR FOR BURMESE TEAK FURNITURE?
Each piece of Burmese Teak is unique from the other due to the natural shading of Teak. The natural matt enhances the original beauty of Teak and is the most popular shade variant. Other shade options include Walnut, Mahogany and Espresso in gloss and matt variants.
HOW MANY FABRIC OPTIONS AND PATTERNS DO YOU HAVE?
Sofa cushions and covers come with in-stock options of 6 shades each in Brocade, Polyester and Leather fabrics. Other shades and design patterns can be selected in different colours and design but require a 120-day lead time. Fabric samples are available at any of outlets.
CAN YOU STAIN MY PURCHASED ITEM TO A CUSTOM COLOUR?
Yes, with ASK Teak Create, you can stain your item to a custom colour. However, most items are stained only in Natural Matt polish to reflect the natural beauty of Burmese Teak. Other stain options include Mahogany, Walnut and Espresso.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO DELIVER TWO PIECES WITH IDENTICAL MARKINGS AND PATTERNS?
As Burmese Teak Wood is a natural material, it is highly unlikely for two pieces to be exact replica of each other. Like the fingerprint of a human, the rings, grains and patterns of a tree are all unique and have their own individual identities.

DO YOU SELL CUSHIONS AND COVERS FOR OLD SOFA MODELS?
No, we do not sell cushions and covers separately from furniture at the moment.
WHAT DENSITY ARE YOUR SOFA CUSHIONS?
Most of our sofa cushions are of 31kg/cbm standard density.
DO YOU PROVIDE RE-UPHOLSTERY SERVICES?
We are yet to provide this service.
DO YOU HANDLE TRADE-INS OR BUYING BACK OF FURNITURE PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED FROM ASK TEAK?
Currently, we do not offer this service.

No, at the moment, we do not accept phone orders.

No. All payments must be made in full (100%) before delivery arrangements can be made.

Sorry, we currently only ship to addresses in Singapore for online, pre-ordered and retail sales. We do have sales galleries at multiple locations in India (for Indian buyers only). Kindly click here for complete list of Indian sales galleries.
WHAT IS YOUR DELIVERY LEAD TIME?
In-stock items, available in Singapore, can be delivered in 5 - 14 working days, subject to available delivery slots and item stock. Ordered Items which are indent, will have a lead time of 90-120 days.
Customised furniture made under ASK Teak Create and orders of additional cushions and/or cushion covers will require 120 ~ 150 days lead time, as these are made to order.
Online orders will automatically be scheduled for the earliest available date at the time of your order. If you have a preferred delivery date, you can let us know via the comments field during the check-out process. Kindly note however, that specifying a preferred delivery slot does not mean a slot is automatically reserved for your order. All deliveries are subject to the availability of delivery slots on any given date.

In order to plan for timely delivery for all our customers, please allow our customer service team to contact you via SMS 2-3 working days before your scheduled delivery date to advise a delivery time window. As such, we seek your understanding that our sales staff are not able to commit any delivery timing at the point of your purchase.
CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY DATE/TIME?

Some items of smaller dimensions are available for cash and carry at our outlets. Due to space limitations at the outlets, available stocks for cash and carry are limited. Everything else, however, will need to be delivered or self-collected from our warehouse.
